One of the oldest 5k's in the Triangle is also a family-friendly, fun-filled afternoon. The money raised benefits two organizations:

  • Canines for Service, which trains service dogs for people with limited mobility, and
  • Team Red, White and Blue NC, which enriches the lives of veterans by connecting them to their community through physical and social activity

The course, a 3.1-mile loop at the scenic Dorothea Dix Campus, is USAT&F certified. Participants are welcome to run or walk with jogging strollers. Plenty of parking is available.

This is the 36th year in which the N.C. Roadrunners Club is organizing Run for the Roses.
